How to free yourself from stress?
Picture in your mind the worst-case scenario, and think of the BENEFITS of that worst-case. Worst-case is not the monster we create in our frozen state of stress.
Attachment to pride can keep one from true happiness.

EX:
losing house -> renting can cost less, get rid of clutter, meet new neighbors, more free time versus property upkeep and expensive home repairs.

lost job -> time to re-evaluate what you really want to spend their time & money on, and again, cleaning out clutter.

homeless -> an odd freedom; don't have the stress of a job, no tyrant boss, no mortgage - utility - car - cable - insurance - etc payments to endlessly stress you.


Most find, when 'the worst' happens, it mostly leads to a gift of something more wonderful than what one lost.
